Using the seasons to support our actions

Just as I encourage people to be aware of the cycles of the moon (women in particular) & use the changing pace, I thoroughly recommend we all do the same around the seasons… (btw it was a New Moon yesterday morning – anyone sense any surges of energy…?!)

So, go gently with yourself if you become a little more slothful in Autumn & Winter, wanting to spend time indoors busying yourself with filling your belly, your cupboards etc. This is a great time to quietly build foundations, where the activity is less visible, more below the surface… You know yourself best, but I often think this is a natural time to put on a little extra weight…

Equally, enjoy the lighter days & the life force that is apparent in all the buds, leaves & flowers that burst forth in Spring – you’ll very possibly notice you are showing more outward signs of energy, perhaps with new projects & ideas…

I wondered, earlier this year, if the reason I like the astrological new year, is because it matches my own energy emerging from my hibernation period… If I start the ‘new year’ in January with too many plans, I can lose heart before long, as Nature’s energy isn’t matching that dynamic energy… yet…

Having said all that, Nature & the seasons don’t always seem entirely clear, so, as with everything, do an ‘internal check’ so you can respect your energy to see if it coincides or clashes with Nature… that way we can feel a little more supported… take care, till next time.
